Scott Murchison, CRM, is a Certified Records Manager and the SVP, Information Management Services for Kaizen InfoSource. He has over 20 years of experience in Records and Information Management as both a Practitioner and Consultant. He has worked in a variety of industries including government, financial services, insurance, legal, construction, manufacturing, airline, hospitality, and entertainment sectors. Scott is a founding partner of Kaizen InfoSource LLC, a full service information management and technology consultancy. He has built successful RIM Programs from the ground up, moving from paper to digital, gaining recognition of senior management, and turning lackluster departments into system-wide compliance initiatives.
Scott has been an active member of the Association of Records Managers and Administrators (ARMA) International since 1992 and has served various board positions within local chapters in New York City, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Silicon Valley/San Jose, Atlanta and Memphis, TN. As a lecturer and workshop leader, Scott has presented webinars, all-day seminars and workshops at international conferences for ARMA and numerous U.S. chapters, as well as for Lorman Education Services, the Information Security Forum, the ALA, CAJPA, the California City Clerks Association and the California Special Districts Association.
